Integrity 496 CE

    • We had the opportunity to take a sneak peek of the first Integrity 496 to arrive on the East Coast. This trawler features a variety of details and design elements that will appeal to the weekend warrior or long distance cruiser alike.

One of the first items we noticed was the lazarette with enough room to carry spare parts, stores, and even a freezer.

The 496 has a side deck on the starboard side only, allowing the saloon to extend all the way from the port side. Integrity also offers full walkaround decks but the compromise is worth the enormous saloon. It rivals many 60 footers. In fact, the interior accommodations do not pinch any one area for the sake of another. There are two spacious heads, two very comfortable staterooms, and a very functional galley. One of our favorite areas is the pilothouse. The area is wrapped in golden teak, and features a teak and holly sole. The settee and table make this the perfect dining area. It can also serve double duty as a watch berth. Integrity incorporated a large area at the helm to read paper charts. Two doors provide plenty of cross ventilation. Each door features several dogs ensuring the bluewater stays out.

The initial stock boat is loaded with options like stabilizers, satellite television, a washer and dryer, full electronics, and upgraded interior appointments. The price is less than $1 million. Integrity Trawlers America, (203) 393-9306.
